IMA was tasked with managing the import, handling, and transportation (including customs clearance) for all break bulk cargo for the Qurayyah II power plant project in Saudi Arabia (phases 1 and 2). The break bulk cargo was transported via the Jubail seaport in Saudi Arabia. This project necessitated the transportation of seven combined-cycle power generation units (phase 1), while phase 2 involved the movement of eight power generation units. In total, the cargo comprised more than 200,000FT.

IMA successfully completed the transportation and delivery of:

  1. 15 gas turbines, measuring 9 x 4 x 4.5/170MT
  2. 15 gas turbine generators, measuring 9 x 4 x 4.2/235MT
  3. Transformers, measuring 8 x 3.5 x 4.5/45MT
  4. 15 units consisting of approximately 6,000 items, 60% of which were over-dimensional

These items were successfully received at Jubail seaport, customs were cleared, and the cargo was delivered to site as per schedule.
